Recently, Mr. Hew Tse Hou, Malaysian Consul General in Shanghai, and Ms. Datin Fairos, the wife of Malaysian Ambassador to China, visited our hospital and expressed their sincere sympathy to the Malaysian child who is undergoing therapy in Department of Liver Surgery at our hospital. Chunming Wang, Director of the hospital's Foreign Medical Affairs Development Office, and the liver surgery team received the foreign guests.
Mr. Hew Tse Hou expressed his appreciation for Renji’s first-class technology, management and service. He expressed thanks to Renji Hospital for actively treating the Malaysian children patients. He stated that Department of Liver Surgery in Renji Hospital enjoys a good reputation in liver transplantation, and especially in the field of pediatric autologous living liver transplantation. Both the success rate of the operation and the prognostic effects have reached the international advanced level. Since the two sides established contact in November 2014, 20 Malaysian children have received good surgical treatment at Renji Hospital. He is very pleased to see that the two sides have established good cooperation and mutual visits. He is also very grateful to Renji Hospital for satisfying the medical needs of Chinese and foreign patients, better serving the patients and integrating high-quality resources. Renji Hospital has established standardized clinical guidelines and integrated whole course of service management process for foreign patients, which enables patients to enjoy better and more convenient medical services.
