Recently, the US neurosurgeon John K.Hsiang is officially employed as neurosurgery specialist in Southern Division of Renji Hospital. On the morning of February 20, Yu Wang, executive vice president of Southern Division of Renji Hospital, presented the appointment letter on behalf of the hospital to Dr. John K.Hsiang. This is the first foreign certified doctor in Southern Division of Renji Hospital, marks another important milestone in the international construction of the hospital.

  

  Dr. John K. Hze, graduated from the University of Chicago with a Ph.D. in Doctor of Medicine and a Ph.D. in Pathology. He has the United States neurosurgeon license, certificated by the American Society of Neurosurgery. He was the Chairman of the Department of Spine Surgery at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, USA. He is also the Chairman of the Neurosurgery Society in the Washington State. He is good at minimally invasive surgery and attaining deep in term of endoscopic spine surgery. He is a senior medical officer at the Shanghai Jiahui International Hospital. Dr. John K. Heze holds the Certificate of Internal Medicine and Surgeons awarded by the US Department of Health in Washington, DC, and has successfully completed the registration and filing of foreign physicians in China. Up to now, Dr. John K. Hzeiang has carried out four operations in Southern Division of Renji Hospital.

  As a well-known medical expert of spinal cord subgroup in the subject of neurosurgery, Dr. John K. Hzeiang will help to enforce special expertise in the spinal cord subgroup for Department of Neurosurgery of Renji Hospital, to further enhance the international influence of the discipline. To implement the "13th Five-Year Plan",the hospital will adhere to deepen the connotation of construction, accelerate the pace of innovation and reform, as well as expand international cooperation.
