The Reproductive Medicine Center at Renji Hospital has successfully assisted a 43-year-old Italian couple in achieving their dream of parenthood. After multiple failed IVF attempts in Italy, the couple (surnamed Tiziani, pseudonym) sought treatment at Renji Hospital.

A multidisciplinary team led by Professor Sun Yun, in collaboration with Dr. Steven R. Lindheim, Vice President of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, designed a personalized pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT) protocol. The team further enlisted European hysteroscopy expert Professor Giuseppe Bigatti for endometrial evaluation.

Through precision treatment, the patient achieved successful pregnancy on the first embryo transfer and ultimately delivered a healthy baby boy.
